Jeanine M.

Private tutor in Olympia, WA

Education

I graduated from Binghamton University in 2000 with a 3.4 GPA . I received a BS in Molecular Biology, and BAs in Ancient History and Philosophy.

Experience

I've been tutoring since high school and really enjoy the one on one experience. As an adult, I started tutoring again for extra cash while teaching Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Microbiology to nursing students as an adjunct. My first three private students were boys with learning disabilities and autism. I managed to move them from being home schooled to being mainstreamed within 3 years. For a while, I specialized in just students with disabilities, but slowly most of my students became the children of Columbia University's professors. We just moved to Washington from NYC and I have maintained my full load of 20 students from Columbia University, long distance over skype. I have taught SAT, ACT and ISEE classes for The Princeton Review as well as most of the subject classes.
