5 on the AP Biology Test; I've taken Earth Matters: Chemistry and Geology at TESC with a good evaluation and full credit; I won grand prize at the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair my sophomore and junior years of high school; I won second in my category of energy and transportation sophomore year at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair; I won third place junior year and first place senior year at the Washington State Junior Science and Humanities Symposium; and I had my research paper, "The Removal of Nitrates from Water Using Conifer Tissues", published in the Journal of the Stockholm Junior Water Prize 2009. I want to tutor because I am hoping to become a high school biology or chemistry teacher and pass on my love of science and I think this will be a very rewarding experience.
