Private tutor in Olympia, WA
Education
Political Science Major at Evergreen State College, Sophomore
Experience
Participated in, and took tests for: AP Language Arts (4), AP United States History (5), AP European History (4), AP Government and Politics (4). I have worked in unofficial capacity as a mentor and tutor throughout my life helping younger scouts (through my involvement with scouting), family, and friends learn and improve. I hope to bring this same commitment and love of teaching and helping to my tutoring here. I am an Eagle Scout and Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 319 out of La Crescenta, CA, and I have and continue spend a lot of free time as a mentor and instructor for scouts when able. I am Founder and Coordinator of the Evergreen Thinkers Society, which is devoted to facilitating discussion and events to provoke thought in all areas, in particular philosophy. I am also the Evergreen Chapter Chair of the Washington Public Interest Research Group and on their Board of Directors. This is a position that requires a great deal of organization, and teaching.
